AIA Austin’s Architecture in Schools is an eight-week program taught by local Architects and Architectural Interns in seventeen different Austin ISD classrooms. The Third Grade Students learned about Residential Design. The Fourth Graders focused on Neighborhood Planning, while the Fifth Grade Students designed an ideal City.  This program is sponsored by the generosity of the Austin Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Austin) and the Austin Foundation for Architecture.

The Showcase will exhibit Student Work for a separate grade level on each night. The Center will open at 4:30pm, with Student Work on display for each respective grade level.  At 5:30pm, the Student Awards Presentation will commence, and each student will be presented with a participation certificate presenting each student with a participation certificate.

Come see the work your student created, meet the program volunteers, and have your student recognized for the work they created in the program.

We hope you will join us!

The showcase will occur over THREE nights:
Monday November 16th: 3rd Grade Showcase
Tuesday November 17th: 4th Grade Showcase
Wednesday November 18th: 5th Grade Showcase

The gallery will be OPEN for viewing the student work from 4:30-5:30 each day, followed by the presentation of the students' participation certificates from 5:30-6:30.
